My Train Journey

Hi,
I was on a trip to B'lore recently. After long time I took a train not a flight as I do it usually and added upon, It was my personal trip not official. I was happy reading book in my hand "The Sonnet Lover" and was so much engrossed in it did not care even to check who my co passengers were. After my dinner, climbed up my berth which was upper berth and saw a simple guy sitting in the opposite berth and was busy with his laptop. He lifted his head with my question that how he is managing to sit up and work as the berth was too high to the roof. He smiled and said Practice... but slowly we started chatting and knowing our jobs and work place. We got engrossed in our discussions so much that i had already abandoned my book reading and him working on laptop which kept us busy till then. I thought my sonnet lover can wait for me to come back and his laptop had enough battery to finish our intros. In our formal discussions, the topic of books reading crawled in. I was amazed my co passenger’s interest in kind of books he read. Most books he read were scientific but also have done a good research in the origin of different religions. My next question was, what made him to read in particular about the religions, he replied to compare them and see how different they are with each other or do they depend on each other.
Amazing facts he put across regarding Islam , Judaism ,Christianity & Hinduism. He stated s that Jews were the first and Christianity took birth from Jews after Jesus was born and also declared that another messiah will come to spread the God's belief and the Mohammed the prophet preached Islam.
He made it simple to believe his statement, all three believe in his concept of origin of Adam and Eve (Iswar Parvati - Shristi Kartas), Jannat and Jahunum, the Noha's ark and the supreme God who has sent Mathews, Jejus and Mohammed the Prophet.. Shankaracharya, Gautam Buddha, Mahavir they all preached the same. I liked the clarity he has and the way he told me that we are all one who follow the messengers of God to reach the Supreme God (One who created all of us and also his messengers). So I conclude with a smile of great satisfaction, the Hindus following Shankara Charya, Madhva Charya, Raghavendra Swami, Sai Baba, The Buddhist, The Jains also follow the Messengers to reach the one "The Supreme". See, we are all are on the same path but different messengers we follow, destination is same, mode of transport differs...

But who would explain us ,why are then christens preach for conversion, why the Muslims fight with the rest of the world, why the Buddhist and Jains think they are the purest, why Hindus think that they are superior and rest are all less than them... why this destruction?.... The questions remain while I slip in deep dreamless quiet sleep.

Meeting such people will make me smile for one reason that, I am also a person who is trying to reach the supreme like my co passenger now a friend to be proud of.
So my friends my journey gave me lot of satisfaction that if I have across one gentleman who has superb clarity of thinking of oneness and believe his path of devotion as a Muslim to reach Allaha, there are lakhs in the crores who has the same clarity which is saving this world from the selfish one's who cause the destruction because of their lack of clarity to understand the messengers message and path set. My Journey begins here with a smile in happy world with my friend who spent an hour to make me happy forever.
I thank you friend for being such a nice human being.

My Thoughts

After thirty years of life, today I have realized the importance of knowing my own thoughts, source of thoughts, the entire thought process.

When I sit and spend some time and observe my thoughts which are like waves on the shore, few thump, few crawl, few come with a great speed , few are slow and die before they reach the shore.

Ultimately the truth remains the same , my thought remains attached with the things around me, with me, never allow me to go away from myself, similar to the wave carries with it the sand, gravel, conch's, sticks all the other things attached to the shore & is on the shore. So my thoughts go no beyond the known world around...

Off late I realize, there is a difference in my thinking as the big tides in the midnight when full moon is at its prime makes to the waves, my thinking has seen its sea change, just because of my introduction to a Book called" Living With the Himalayan Masters" by Swami Rama. I started counting the waves and noting the difference the tide makes to the waves in my own self.

Later the tide has introduced me to another book called “The Little Prince" by one French writer. This book taught me to be natural and do not ignore the sand, gravels, broken conch's, shells which come along with the thought waves.

Now the journey with thoughts is on with the book I am reading now..."An Autobiography of Yogi", there is an ocean to know our thoughts and I am set to become one in the ocean of self awareness.
